12-Inch Cordless Brushless Chainsaw Compatible with Makita 18V Battery
Choice!
The 12-Inch Cordless Brushless Chainsaw is a refreshing shift away from noisy, gas-guzzling equipment for my backyard workshop. After putting it through its paces on various timber projects, I found that it handles medium-duty cuts with surprising ease.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels remarkably sturdy, featuring a brushless motor that ensures longer runtimes and reduced wear compared to older brushed models. At 3kg, it strikes a great balance between being light enough to maneuver and heavy enough to let the machine do the hard work.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the saw is straightforward, and the compatibility with Makita 18V batteries is a massive convenience for anyone already invested in that power platform. The no-load speed of 3800rpm makes quick work of branches and boards, keeping the learning curve flat even for beginners.
This chainsaw is perfect for woodworkers and homeowners who need a reliable, low-maintenance tool for occasional pruning and crafting.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am highly impressed with the efficiency and longevity provided by this unit, earning it a solid 4.95/5 rating. While $359.00 is a premium price point, the reliability and brushless power make it a top-tier choice for 2026.
